By rail Mouldsworth Station is on the Chester-Manchester line and is 1 mile from the museum. When you come out of the station, turn right and follow the main road until you come to Smithy Lane on the left-hand side (you'll see the signposts to the Museum). Walk along Smithy Lane until you come to the Museum on the left-hand side - it's an imposing building and there's a sign outside behind the main entrance gates. Chester - Mouldsworth (updated January 2011) From Chester, Wednesdays, trains run every 30 minutes from 06:05 until 08:07 when they run every hour and the journey time is 11 minutes. Return from Mouldsworth - Chester is every hour (:31 past) until 17:31 then 17:59, 18:21, 18:59, 19:31 then every hour (:31 past) until 23:31 (last train).
