A personal message from James Peacop

After 40 years the Museum at Mouldsworth has been forced to close.

I would like to offer my thanks to all those who have visited and supported this popular collection during the past 40 years.

I have tried to keep this unique collection of cars and auto memorabilia together in Cheshire, but this has proved impossible.

I have therefore instructed BRIGHTWELLS, the auctioneers at Leominster, near Hereford, to arrange the following sales.

PLEASE NOTE THE SALES WILL TAKE PLACE AT BRIGHTWELLS IN LEOMINSTER NOT THE MUSEUM

Wednesday 6 March 2013

The first sale will include some of our main cars:

  • 1930 Sunbeam 16.9 Doctors Coupe, 28,500 miles from new and very original
  • 1932 McEvoy Special, Jensen-bodied, only one in the UK
  • 1937 Rover 14HP Streamline Coupe, Chassis only, 6-cylinder engine (Chromidium Block) with three S.U. carburettors
  • 1958 Heinkel Bubble Car, complete with original garage as found in Chester.  20,000 miles from new
  • 1962 Harry Potter Car (Ford Anglia), with all original promotion and Harry Potter film items
  • 1968 Works Rally Car (00H 745G)
  • Morris 1800S prepared by Leyland Special Tuning at Abingdon - World Cup rally entrant (No.34) 1970

Wednesday 20 March 2013

The second sale will feature over 500 lots of Automobilia including signs, badges, mascots, toys, tools, cabinets and rare bicycles

Wednesday 22 May 2013

This will include the second half of the Museum's collection - we have tried very hard to make all sales contain a varied and interesting range of unusual items.

PLEASE NOTE THE SALES WILL TAKE PLACE AT BRIGHTWELLS IN LEOMINSTER NOT THE MUSEUM
